The scientific name for Mahi-mahi is Coryphaena hippurus. It has quite an elongated body, 1.5 meters on average. Whereas males have a frontal bump, females have a well-rounded head and a thinner body. Their coats are magnificent, green, turquoise blue and golden in color, which can change within a few minutes. Its lean flesh is white, fine, soft and juicy, pleasant and unique. Mahi-mahi lives mainly in the hot and tropical waters of the Indian and Pacific Ocean.
