Anarhichas lupus is as well–known as Atlantic Wolffish, Sea Wolf, Atlantic Catfish or Devil Catfish. It lives near the coastlines of the North Atlantic. Its body is quite elongated, its pectoral fins are fan-shaped, and its color goes from blue to olive green to purplish brown. Its flesh is white, firm and tasty, as well as a little sweet.
