The scientific name of this fish is the same as its common one: Dentex. It’s a big coastal predator, close to Seabreams and Red Porgy. Its coat is pale blue-purple colored, with light blue and dark spots. The Dentex flesh is firm and delicious.

Our Dentex mainly come from the Indian Ocean, from Angola, Senegal and Oman.
