How to buy

Choose papayas with a smooth skin that reacts to a slight pressure of the thumb. Ripe papayas are mostly yellow.

how to keep

To ripen papayas, place them in a paper bag, loosely closed. Once ripe, you can keep them in the fridge for up to a week.
