Know your product

Plum is a sweet and juicy fruit with a thin skin. Its color ranges from slight yellow to the deep purple. It was Suleiman the Magnificent, the Ottoman Emperor, who offered plum trees to Claude of France, queen and wife of Francis I of France. This gift introduced the plum to Europe.

We offer many varieties of plums: Mirabelle, Red, Angelino, Greengage or Reine Claude, Giant, Denoy… Their diameters range from 17–35 millimeters. They are picked when fresh and in good shape through applying rigorous quality controls.

How to buy

Choose a smooth and uniform fruit with a beautiful color. The skin must be thin, even transparent. A ripe fruit reacts to a slight pressure applied by the fingers.

how to keep

Keep your unwashed plums covered in the fridge for up to 5 days. To ripe, keep them at room temperature in a loosely closed paper bag.

Tips

If you remove the stones, you can keep your plums in the freezer. You can serve plain plums as a dessert or use them in sauces to accompany dishes of chicken or duck.
